Culinary award-winning Executive Chef Adrian Lim, 43, from Berjaya Langkawi Resort – Malaysia who has over 23 years of culinary experience in serving and promoting various types of cuisine at various 5-Star resorts, hotels, restaurants in Africa, Egypt, Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines.
Penang-born Adrian who has an intense passion for food and the art of culinary expertise, rose to the position of executive chef from rank and file as kitchen helper during his heydays in the culinary world.
His vast experience had also landed him an executive chef position at the exclusive World Travel award-winning 5-Star deluxe hotels & resorts in Sharm-el -Sheikh, Egypt. (Worlds Leading Diving Resort 2007/Africa’s Leading Villa 2008 and Egypt Leading Resort 2008).
During his tenure of service in the culinary world from 1990-1995, he has obtained awards in several national and international culinary events and has bagged numerous medals from competitions namely:-
- National Culinary Competition, KL.
- Singapore 8th FHA International Salon Culinaire Food & Hotel Asia.
- Salon Gastronomique, Penang.
- Salon Gastronomique, Penang. ( ASEAN Region)
- Comprising of 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze.
