Chef Murugan A/L Balakrishnan
Is an active member of Chefs Association of Malaysia, Penang Chapter since 2003! Chef Murugan comes with 14 years of working experience in various hotels and restaurants around Malaysia & Cambodia specializing in Indian Cuisine.
His humble beginnings enable him to master other cuisines along his career path picking up Western, Malay, Chinese, Nyonya and other ethnic cuisines.
His many VIP patrons include “His Royal Highest King of Malaysia”, “Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia”, “TYT Governor of Penang”, Federal / State Cabinet Ministers and YAB Chief Minister of Penang”.
Chef Murugan had represented our Association for Malaysian / Penang Food Promotion in Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. Personally Chef Murugan had participated in various culinary competitions to horn his culinary skills and develops many new menus for his working place.
