Chef Amir had acquired over 32 years of working experiences starting from the very basic, way back in the late seventies in the International Hotels and Resort around Penang. Along his journey, Chef Amir had pick up various culinary specialties in Chinese, Japanese, Asian and Continental cuisines.
Chef Amir had comes a long way from the early days in the kitchen arena, learning his basic culinary skills from the very best of European Chefs attached to hotels in Penang. Chef Amir also had the opportunity to practice Japanese Cuisine while attached to the Japanese Kitchen with great emphasis in Teppanyaki showmanship and Sushi making.
Chef Amir total involvement in the kitchen arena had given him great confidents in pursuing the very best in these fields. His quest for culinary excellent had won him numerous medals and awards from the many culinary competitions he participated locally and international.
Chef Amir is the Vice-Chairman of Chefs Association of Malaysia, Penang Chapter since 2005 with the responsibility of handling Government related matter within our Association. Chef Amir had lead many teams to various community projects and food promotions locally and internationally. Chef Amir unselfish and moderate personality had gained him, great respect from the culinary circle.
